1 Mother 2 Another

After a lifetime of rejection, the bouncy seat has finally won an enthusiastic thumbs up from Madeleine. Who knows what made her change her mind, and who cares? She doesn’t simply tolerate the seat, she loves it! She’ll sit in the seat and smile and talk and look around delightedly. And for those really fussy times, this bouncy seat has a battery-powered arch you can attach with a water-filled aquarium in it that makes ocean noises and features swimming plastic fish. I drop it on and she’s enraptured, staring mesmerized for a good 10-15 minutes (which is long enough to fix a lunch!) before becoming overwhelmed. I call it her T.V.

I’m thinking the bouncy seat will be going with us to Wisconsin in a few weeks.
